Advisory Support

After each venture's launch, Global Grassroots provides an additional twelve months of hands-on advisory support and actively employs evaluation metrics and ongoing assessment to support long-term sustainability and social impact. This allows us to:

• help our projects design and carry out a baseline issue study to collect data on the issue's impact among their target population, against which they will measure their progress,
  
  
• oversee the expenditures of our seed funding via several tranches or disbursements to protect against cost-overruns and ensure appropriate use of our grant funding,
  
  
• work to establish strong relationships with local officials where the project is operating and obtain any necessary permits and approvals,
  
  
• provide additional bookkeeping workshops and financial analysis to ensure the project can track its progress, analyze changes in the financial landscape and make strategic operating decisions,
  
  
• conduct creative fundraising workshops to help teams find strategies to support ongoing operating expenses,
  
  
• provide marketing and communications support, including publicity for teams as change leaders in the community,
  
  
• identify grant and other collaboration opportunities in their local community, and
  
  
• provide other networking, problem-solving and support services as needed.

Global Grassroots works to develop strategic partnerships with local, national and international partners to weave together an infrastructure of collaborative investment and support. Evaluation metrics and ongoing assessment processes are incorporated into the operations phase to ensure the development of a strong organization.
