About the Authors

Gretchen Wallace is Global Grassroots' founder and loves to blog with wonder about her discoveries in the field.

Christina Hueschen is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and a recent graduate of Yale University. She is living in Kigali, working with Global Grassroots teams in Rwanda until summer 2011.

Caitlin Clements recently graduated from Yale and is currently on a fellowship in Rwanda until summer 2011. She is working with Global Grassroots to improve the sustainability of its projects, and plans to pursue a Ph.D. in clinical psychology.

Laya Millman is a lover of travel, veggie burritos and RadioLab podcasts. She is a biological anthropology student at UC Berkeley with interests in trauma healing and neurobiology, and a growing fascination with animal intelligence and Lady Gaga.
